![]() Yes the music was more oriented towards local numbers, dance-hall and american songs and yes you would find mostly locals and french tourists, but don't let that discourage you, it is a great place for everyone to have a good time. I can see some reviews whereby they complained it was not that happening, I would recommend if you want to go dancing specifically to go around 1AM, my friends and I literally were the first on the floor (It is quite small though) and gets crowded easily. Prices are what you would expect for a club on opposite side of the beach. Since we already had dinner, we started only with their finger foods and drinks. Nice live band performance with a mix of English and local songs/music, great to relax among friends with drinks. This makes me think they've got big headed and cannot be bothered.Went there on a week day Friday 4th Jan, quite early we reached by a club standard so we got seats easily, there are 2 bars on the opposite end which is great when you consider how crowded it gets later in the night. After several months and emails we finally reached an agreement.I drafted all discussed in an attachment and repeatedly asked him to confirm so we can effect payments ( plan also agreed) which he couldn't be bothered to open and confirm despite sending it to him three times with his questions all answered! He also got my name wrong which he never apologised for. It is with utmost disgust and disappointment i am writing this review! Having done two events with Manisa hotel 5 years ago, i approached them again for another one this year but alas! Communications via email to Mr Malick Normamode, catering and event manager has been an appaling experience. We were unable to travel around the Island sadly, apart from one day, but certainly we were still able to have a relaxing few days in the sun & pool! I would most certainly revisit the Manisa if everI get the chance to return to Mauritius.… All for about £20 for two people without drinks which again were good price! The staff are all extremely polite & helpful. Not this one! Excellent food! Three course menu of starter then choice of two mains & a sweet. I was led to believe that Hotels can be expensive to eat at at night. Breakfasts are continental but with cooked food available on request. The grounds & pool are kept very clean & tidy. The rooms are comfy, they are serviced daily, linen changed regularly. There was a hairdryer, fridge, kettle, although no coffee/tea etc provided. However, everything you need is at the Hotel. Aside from all that, the Hotel is opposite the lovely Flic-en-Flac beach, and there are amenities close by like Restaurants, Nightclubs & a supermarket. Again Maneesh helped sort out our flights to ensure we were able to leave safely. Then the dreaded Corona Virus hit the Island & we had to go into lock down at the Hotel before being forced to cut short our stay. What I didn't expect was the complete care & consideration that I received from Manager Maneesh & his staff over the days that I visited when my travelling companion was delayed at the start & I needed help getting him into Mauritius. The Manisa Hotel was exactly what I expected from the description on my searches. It was like living in palm garden with flowers, pool, cats and birds. Other hotels in the area cost twice as much, at least! And they will be too far away from shopping and restaurtants, and nice everning strolls. And I do recommend this hotel if you want to go around and experience things on Mauritius. But if you want good value for the money, then look no further! I especially reccommend if for families and younger people. Yes, the hotel is not TOP class, some would find breakfast lacking and so on. Yes, do expect some noise, it is centrally located. One of the greatest things for my daughter was the about 10 cats that lived there (buy a pack of cat food and your kids will have so much fun with this). Everybody at the hotel was SO nice and helpfull. like egg made in many ways, bacon, sausages. ![]() And everyday a waiter came and asked if we wanted sometihg extra (for free). ![]() Juice, thea/coffee, bread, fruits, pancakes(!), croissants and so on. I was expecting not so great breakfast, reading the reviews. Many excellent restaurants within 3 minutes of walking. You can snorkel directly from the perfect beach which has the nicest sunsets every day. Central, and just cross the road, and you are on the beach, in the area where most things are happening. Flic en Flac is the best area to stay in, if you want to exeperience Mauritius, and the hotel is so excellently located. This hotel has the PERFECT location in Flic en Flac/Mauritius.
